Pure. Shampoo Bar is a handcrafted conditioning soap-based shampoo bar without any perfume or scent additives. To promote healthy hair and scalps, our shampoo bars are specially formulated with premium plant-based oils such as avocado oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, macadamia nut oil, and argan oil.
You will love the rich creamy lather and mild cleanse that won't strip off your natural oils. Pure and simple characteristics of this bar will leave nothing but soft, shiny, clean, healthy hair.
It is also great as a gentle face and body bar, suitable for sensitive, dry, normal or oily skin types.
SCENT
This soap is unscented and perfect for expectant mothers, babies, and toddlers, people sensitive to essential oils, and those who love unscented body care products.
Our "unscented" products are made without essential oils or fragrances. However, it doesn't mean completely scent-free. Natural ingredients such as olive oil and coconut oil are not deodorized and have their own natural scents. Also, our unscented products share the same facility as other scented products and may have a slight transferred scent on the surface. Please rinse the bar under running water before first use.
HOW TO USE
Wet your hair and rub the bar directly onto the scalp or between your hands to build lather. Massage into the scalp, work through the hair, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. Can also be used as a gentle face and body bar.
Because every scalp and hair type is different, your experience may vary. As with any haircare product, results are personal and it may take a little time to find what works best for your hair.
Soap-based shampoo bars generally perform best in soft water. If you’re new to shampoo bars, your hair may need a short adjustment period as it adapts to a simpler routine.

Each bar weighs about 3.3 oz/92 g in weight.

HOMEMADE CONDITIONER
When you switch from regular liquid shampoo to our solid shampoo bar, for the first week or so you may find using our shampoo bar leaves hair dry or frizzy. Everyone's hair is different and some people may experience this. If that's the case you may want to try using an "apple cider vinegar conditioner" which you can make in your kitchen. In a spray bottle put 1/2 cup water and 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar. After shampooing and finishing taking shower, towel dry your hair and spray the cider conditioner and massage into the hair using fingers from roots to the ends. Leave it and let it dry. This should make your hair manageable and the vinegar smell will go away as it dries. (Alternatively, you can pour the conditioner over your hair in the shower, massage, then rinse as you would normally do, if you prefer. You may want to add more water to the bottle depending on the length of the hair.) After a week or so you should not need to use the conditioner.
TIPS
To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use. Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt.
This is a soap-based shampoo bar. The result may vary due to your hair type, products you've used previously, hair styling products, the hardness of water, etc. More about our shampoo bar check our FAQ.
Handcrafted. Each bar is hand-poured, hand-cut and no two are alike. Colour and shape may vary from the pictures shown.
