The Islands : Body + Face Soap is a handcrafted soap bar inspired by the Toronto Islands, one of the most popular summer-time destinations for Toronto locals and visitors. The 13-minute ferry ride from Toronto’s waterfront will take you to this car-free island park with gardens, beaches, an amusement park, nature paths, and a cottage-like community. The soap has a cool fresh scent that helps you calm and relax your mind, just like the day on the Islands. The soothing blue hue mimics the water ripples on the lake. It’s a perfect way to bring the refreshing feeling of the Islands into your daily routine.

Hemp seed (seed of cannabis sativa plant) oil is rich in vitamins and gamma-linolenic acid, and is believed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, have anti-inflammatory benefits to work on acne and eczema, and stimulate healthy skin cell growth—natural indigo and French green clay help to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.

Enriched with skin-restoring rice bran oil and nourishing shea butter this soap is suitable for the face and body of all skin types.

SCENT
A refreshing essential oil blend of eucalyptus, tea tree, lemongrass and lavender creates a relaxing, clean scent.

Olive oil, organic coconut oil, distilled water, rice bran oil, sodium hydroxide (used for the saponification process and none remains in the final product), organic shea butter, castor oil; essential oils of tea tree, lemon, birch, peppermint, and litsea cubeba; hemp seed oil, French green clay, French grey sea salt, titanium dioxide (natural mineral), natural indigo, rosemary leaf extract

TIPS
To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use. Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt.
